its been awhile...

I haven't blogged on this thing in forever but i'm bored and theres tons of stuff goin on in my life....

I just got back from Mexico missions trip from Riverview. One of the most amazing experiences of my life. I was absolutely shocked by the poverty in Tijuana. I've never been to or seen anything like it. Although the conditions were rough people there were geniunely happy. Makes me feel selfish and very guilty for having everything I do. It was also a blast to get to know the 52 amazing people on the trip.

Another new experienced happened to me lately. I had a lady threaten me and our intern Molly at work last Friday. She threatened to "shoot us up"....which were her exact words. I wasn't scared at first because I was honestly laughing inside. But then after the second time she threatened us I got a little worried. She saw the evil glare I gave her and completely called me out on it. After she was taken to her vehicle the cops questioned us. I would have to say I didn't think working in the automotive business was that life-threatening. Apparenlty doing an oil-change is now a risky job. Yikes, what is this world coming to. The scary thing is that I close every night pretty much and I'm always by myself. So the cop gave me some great advice, "If she comes back and you see a gun make sure you take cover." Thank you. Thank you very much.

And this week my brother is moving in with me.....yeah! I have to admit I really really really miss living with my family. As annoying as they seem, living out on your own is very boring. Any of you who know my family knows that my house is a never ending constant circus. People in-people out! it's crazy. Also, Brent and I are pretty close so its going to be great having him around. Seriously, theres nobody in this world who makes me laugh more than him and I can't wait for him to be my roomie.

Thats it. Its' probably going to be another year before I write in this thing but I'll try to be better! Wish me luck at my job...no more dangerous crazy customers
